Wound dressings are high performance and value products which can improve the regeneration of damaged skin. In these products, bioresorption biocompatibility play a key role. The aim this study is to provide progress in area via nanofabrication antimicrobial natural materials. Polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs) bio-based family polymers that possess skin regenerative properties. study, blend poly(3-hydroxybutyrate) (P(3HB)) poly(3-hydroxyoctanoate-co-3-hydroxy decanoate) (P(3HO-co-3HD)) was electrospun into P(3HB))/P(3HO-co-3HD) nanofibers obtain materials with surface good handling performance. were then modified silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) dip-coating method. silver-containing nanofiber meshes showed cytocompatibility interesting immunomodulatory properties vitro, together capability stimulating human beta defensin 2 cytokeratin expression keratinocytes (HaCaT cells), makes them promising for wound dressing applications.
